Jawset Post Shot - Kitchen 3D Gaussian Splat

This Scan was done using an insta 360x4 and Jawset postshot. I also utilized a cube mapping converter from Olli Huttunen to make the equirectangular footage more compatible. This scene was captured by walking around the edges of the room from high, medium and low heights slowly.

Alexander Grand Muir Memorial Photogrammetry / Lidar VRChat World

This Scene was captured using the free 3D Scanner app on iOS. In addition to being able to see where the mesh is capturing in real time, it allows me to take advantage of the face ID sensor to record depth sensor data. This is very useful for higher detail capture and smaller objects. This Scan can also be navigated using VRChat for  PC VR and Windows desktop due to its larger file size. The flower vases can also be moved around thanks to the VRC pickup, object sync, box collider and rigid geometry components inside of Unity's VRChat creator Companion tool. Future additions to this world will include the ability to sit on the 3D-scanned benches, mesh refinement/decimation, and capturing an HDRI / Skybox with the Insta360x4 once the snow melts

Little Canada - DSLR Metahuman Cage Photogrammetry Post Processing & Rigging / Weight Painting

In August of 2025 I was fortunate enough to utilize Little Canada's photogrammetry cage to scan some classmates and I. This was accomplished using an array of 128 Canon DSLR cameras. I was then able to convert them to 3D meshes using Agisoft Metashape. In Blender, I was then able to rig these scans using a VRM skeleton and weight painting. The goal is to be able to control these characters fully using DIYSlimeVR limb and Finger trackers. Future improvements for these refinements include decimating the mesh so the weight painting has less Vertex points to connect to. This, in theory, would lead to cleaner movement, a smaller file size model for VR Chat avatars and decreased mesh occlusion during selection.
