Milsey - Blender 3D Animated Short

This project showcases my first short film within Blender in 2024 after a few months of learning the software for the first time. It provides an example at my skills within physics simulation, 3D modelling, animation and lighting within Blender. This course helped me learn the basics of the software for future work.

Penelope Scott - Y2k Baby 2:00-2:12 Multi Animator Project Blender Animation

In January of 2026, I was fortunate enough to work on two contributions to a community music video project organized by Penelope Scott. This second submission was animated and edited within Blender. This is because I wanted to utilize the SlimeVR finger tracking boards on the Vroid avatar I designed, since VMC finger tracking is currently not supported inside of VRChat. This approach also included using 10 DIY SlimeVR limb trackers with 4 extensions for hands and feet. This also gave me much more freedom to animate elements within the background individually, such as the long exposure light-painted elements (stars and fire). Lag with the live mocap input within the Blender viewport was also reduced by recording the motion capture footage on a separate green screen scene.  This is one of my strategies to approach virtual production in a post production heavy capacity, while my first submission focuses on more of a real-time approach.

Cartoon Heart - Lyric Video Motion Graphics

This lyric video, crafted for Thomas Knight in 2022, illustrates my proficiency in video editing and creative adaptation. Utilizing the public domain animation "Felix the Cat and the April Maze" as a background, my primary focus was on animating and synchronizing the lyrics. Techniques learned from Premiere Pro and various YouTube tutorials enabled me to add dynamic wavy effects and tailor the pacing to match the song. This project not only demonstrates my current skill set but also signals my ambition to learn After Effects for more complex and dynamic future projects.

TMU - Unreal Engine Lighting and Camera Workshop

This video showcases my camera and lighting work through Unreal Engine as a part of the 2nd workshop hosted by Robert Delarosa in October 2024. In addition to experimenting with chromatic aberration and camera keyframing, I learned about adjusting the camera's depth of field and focus for the skull pile shot.  This workshop provided me with a great baseline to learn about the fundamentals of film production within Unreal Engine for my future projects.
